CDCN is dedicated toward organising an annual vibrant Carnival and Funfair that celebrates the rich tapestry of our diverse communities.
The parade starts at 12:00pm on Sir Isaac's Walk and Eld Lane, followed by the funfair in Castle Park. Floats, Vintage cars, eCargo bikes and the Steam Engine will start at Headgate and Essex Street and join the main parade as it passes Sir Isaacs Walk.
There will be loads of food vendors, dances, live music, and vendors with great fun for the family, so don't miss it!

The food stalls will offer a truly global feast for your taste buds, featuring exotic spices and traditional recipes passed down through generations.
Experience the rich flavors and diverse cuisines that reflect the vibrant cultures of our community as you travel on delicious journey that celebrates the art of cooking and the joy of connection through sharing food!

The Carnival will feature a diverse range dance performances and live music, inviting you to immerse yourself in the beauty and energy of diverse cultures.
Dance and art exhibitions will showcase the incredible talents and creativity of our diverse community members through artistic expression on display.
The Funfair is back and begins on stage at Lower Castle Park with music and dance representing many of the different cultures we host in Colchester City. There's plenty of fun to be had for the little one's too with our Children's Funfair setup!
19 food vendors will provide options from across the world for purchase. There will also be 2 ice cream vans for those craving something a bit sweeter!

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the symbolism and significance behind these garments, offering a fascinating glimpse into the diverse cultural traditions represented in Colchester.
